I currently have a FR255, and I've previously used the "train for an event" functionality in the connect app to train for a half marathon. That worked like a charm: I got suggested daily work outs working towards my goal. I've now pivoted to triatlon and I've come to the conclusion that the "Train for an event" is not possible for triathlon. Is this a limitation because I have an FR255? Do other watches support this? (I know there's a couple of fixed 12 week training plans, but I'm looking for an adaptive training.
I'm part of a triathlon team and I'm doing training sessions with them when my schedule allows, but many times I have to train on my own and I'd like the garmin app to fill in the gap and suggest workouts based on what I've been doing and what needs to be improved.
Are there other watches that support this? Training for a specific triathlon event?
