Distances to turns have been shown since version 23.20, thanks to Garmin, but some significant turns are still not shown at all, like the one in the attached image. However, the corresponding routes are visible on the map in the Garmin connect web app. I don't know if it's a fault of the watch or Garmin connect when generating the route for uploading to the watch.
