In the May 2025 Smartwatch Feature Update Garmin stated they would have added the new Breathing Variations detection feature to many older watches, 255 included (see the comparison table at the end of that document).
Yet the May update (fw 23.20) for the Forerunner 255 did not include that feature, while the same update for the Forerunner 265 (also fw 23.20) did have that feature included.
So will the 255 get that feature or will it again be treated as a low tier device, despite being practically the same watch as the 265?
