Heart bpm measurements frequency

Hallo, just curious... how many times the FR255 back sensor for heart bpm is measuring? with same frequency during the day and during the night? I read somewhere that the readings are continuously but I wonder how many times this happens. Normally the green led blink, sometimes I had the chance to see them continuous light while measuring.

It appears to be blinking most of the time, but it has what looks like constant light when it is reading the heart rate more accurately. This could be in activities or when checking the stress level.
