That is by design. It is supposed to update the lactate limit automatically now, without a dedicated workout.

But it was already like that, it automatically and whenever it detected it updated the limit.
But it was useful to have the option to carry out the respective test

I think it also used to ask if it should update before, which is also isn¨t doing anymore.
