Is it a common experience that "follow course" in an activity gets confused by a pause/resume later event? I usually use resume later on hiking breaks, so I can see my usual watchface while eating etc.
When I resumed with an out-and-back course, it decided I was returning home already instead of continuing on my outward leg.
I canceled navigation and restarted the course, and it still did the same thing. Then I tried the option to follow the course in reverse, which worked except it stopped giving me turn notifications.
What I finally found that seemed to work was I had to stop navigation, start walking again for a few minutes, and then try starting the course again. I'm not sure whether it is luck of the draw as to being closer to an outbound or return leg course point when starting navigation, or does walking for a few minutes retrain the watch as to which direction I am traveling? If it's the former, that seems stupid. If it is the latter, why doesn't the pause/resume later function remember what direction I was traveling when I paused...?
