Software update has deleted my entire music library......again !!!!!!!

This is the 2nd time this has happened over the last month or so. I've just downloaded the latest software update to my 255 music (over wifi) and yet again, the end result is all of mp3s and Amazon music playlists (plus the Amazon music app) have been completely deleted. This is incredibly frustrating as I don't recall having this issue until recently. I've generally updated my watch in the past with nothing being affected. 

I now have the very time consuming job of reinstalling the AM app and re-downloading 500-600 songs to the watch all over again. The Amazon music playlists generally take 2-4 attempts to get all of the songs on it too. It makes me want to never update my watch in future.

Has anyone had this problem ? Garmin (if you read this) - can you advise on this please ?
