Garbled, pixelated screen after crash and reboot

A few hours ago the screen of my Forerunner 255 looked garbled. I rebooted the device and now the screen is a pixelated mess. I am aware of the bootloop issue. I am wondering if the garbled screen is related to the bootloop issue. The picture shows the screen just after startup

That is something else entirely. If it recurs after switching the watch off (press Light for >15 seconds), contact Garmin Support.
