All,
We are aware of the disruption of devices displaying a blue triangle when starting a GPS activity. Holding the power button until the unit powers off may or may not restore functionality temporarily…
All,
Thank you very much for your patience as we worked on this issue. Please see the steps from My Garmin Device Will Not Boot Past the Start Up Screen for a resolution. If you already performed the steps…
Although appreciated, it's completely absurd the only guidance we have are some other users suggesting button combinations to get these devices to power back on but not resolve this issue. Where is…
Yep, bricked Forerunner 255. I started a walk and flashing triangle. A soft reset does nothing.
I'm not using beta firmware; had an update about a week ago.
Additionally the Connect app on my phone…
I had to do mine 3 times before It was sorted.
I had the same problem, I did the hard reset and couldn't reconnect the watch to my phone. What helped in the end was deleting the watch from my Bluetooth devices as well. Apparently that was getting in the way. After I'd done that, I was immediately able to couple the two devices.
I did it but my phone cannot find it

In my case the watch reset and stayed in bootloop after starting livetrack in the "Garmin Connect" app. I didn't have any activity started on the watch, the watch itself was lying on the table next to it, showing the clock face. Watch was connected to phone with BT.
I did a hard reset, the backup was restored, but there is still a problem with Garmin Pay/Wallet.
It keeps reseting itself: GC shows a notification (sth about security reasons) and then the cards disappear from the watch, I add the cards back, it's OK for a while, then out of nothing bam! another reset.
Problem seems solve for me. I do a 45 minutes run this morning without any issue !
I did mine from scratch as when I did the backup restore I got a triangle again yesterday. In fact I did it three times...what fun!
Did you also remove device from GC app and BT settings and then re-pair it
(forerunner 255 music) managed to turn of the watch by pressing the buttons and listening to the beep, followed by connecting it to garmin express on computer, then syncing it.. Not sure what it did there. Now, it is on and functional, however it cant connect to my phone, it prompts "pairing failed: unable to pair your garmin device"
