Forerunner 255 crashes

Today the watch totaly crashed by starting a run.

Hard reset does not work, i see only the triangel.

We are aware of the disruption of devices displaying a blue triangle when starting a GPS activity. Holding the power button until the unit powers off may or may not restore functionality temporarily…

Yep, bricked Forerunner 255. I started a walk and flashing triangle. A soft reset does nothing.

I'm not using beta firmware; had an update about a week ago.

Additionally the Connect app on my phone…

Found this on another thread. It works but as it says it deletes everything!! Well done Garmin....

1. Ensure the watch is powered off. 2. You may need to hold LIGHT for up to 30 seconds to turn the watch off. 3. Press and hold DOWN, START/STOP, and BACK/LAP. 4. Press LIGHT to power the watch on while holding these three buttons. 5. After the first beep release START/STOP. 6. After the second beep release the remaining buttons.

...this solved my crash loop problem :) but deletes everything :(

I have same issue with my forerunner 255, I haven't even startet an activity, it just happened to show triangle and black screen in a loop

Doesn’t work for me - even with the other buttons pressed it goes back into a boot loop as soon as I turn it on.
