Altimeter Bug

Hi,

i have two bugs with my FR255.

firstly, on the first minutes, the elevation is not good, it always goes up while it is flat, after the elevation is good (in red).

secondly, when I pause the activity, there is a loss of altitude while I start again from the same place (in blue).

I have the same issue, contacted garmin support, and they felt that watch is broken.

It ahs something to do with the barometer. fun fact, also venu and viviocatvie have this issue. garmin just says no.

nice to see other people complain as well, hope it ever gets resolved.

After reset and calibration, always the same pb. it is very annoying

here, altitude graph with gps :

first and last km are the same way. but there are a bug at the begining.

and 2 times i pause the activity and then loss of elevation.

garmin, what do you suggest ?

is it exist a way to disable the altimeter and have altitude with gps ?

there is a real problem, it's not a bug of my fr255.

i have a friend with a fr955 who has the same problem :

altitude increase too hard at the begining, and after a pause, brutal lost of altitude.

@garmin, can you resolve this bug please ?

They wont, asked support many times. They just ignore and blame the watch

Almost everyone i know with a watch has this.

Also

The graph should be relative instead of fixed 200m

So we need to go back to some previous firmware, it is possible ?
