Connecting heart rate sensor

I have a Polar H10 heart rate sensor and I would like to use it instead of the sensor of my watch (Forerunner 255) during my runs. However, when I'm trying to connect the Polar sensor, it only connects for a minute. After that, it says 'searching' and then it connects again for a minute. Does anyone have the same problem?

It's not a bug it's a feature. Connected once your belt will be auto connected on activity and disconnected after ending.

My Polar VeritySense connects perfectly to the FR255music watch.

Remember, there are 2 channels where the connections are possible: Bluetooth or ANT+.

I think the ANT+ channel is more reliable and so I connect always my Polar HR sensor over ANT+ to the watch or to my Garmin Edge 530.

Garmin recommends ANT+ and also this protocol gives more data than BLE
