Happy Holidays to all.
Today I ran 8 uphill repeats (warm up + (8 uphill - downhill repeats) + cool down).
I did not create a workout but instead i just pressed the lap button before every repeat as i've done before on my FR255.
The intervals as viewed by Garmin Connect are messed up as follows:
I can make no sense at all, and its the same mess at the mobile app and the watch itself.
(I probably can figure out which lap is which but I need Enigma, the code breaking machine from WW2 as it seems one lap is recorder as Warmup, some as Recovery and some as Run.)
I thought to check the same workout through Strava and the result is shown correctly as follows: (you can distinguish uphill and downhill repeats from the elevation column)
I also checked with Runalyze (Great tool btw) and the laps were once again correctly shown. Check the elevation/watts for uphill/downhill laps.
So, Garmin Connect can not properly identify and show manual laps anymore?
Is that the case? Anyone any idea or similar experience? Did I pressed lap button the wrong way?
I also checked the following older interval run at Oct 29th and it shows properly.
Please let me know - Garmin Techs, what do you think?
Happy holidays to everyone!
