Distance to turn not displaying in a course after update (21.19)

Confirm, it still does not work in version 22.22, and I have also not received the still working turn warning about 20 to 25 metres before the turn at least twice. The mysterious hammer-shaped arrow reappeared at the same point on the route.

Notice people are still actively commenting on this thread as problem is still an issue but we have had no response. Does this mean Garmin have no interest in looking into the issue? 

I'm worried about that too. According to the article on www.zivotsgarminem.cz/abyste-nezabloudili-jak-funguje-navigace-bez-mapy-na-hodinkach (Czech, 19 October 2023), it is clear that the watch showed the distance to the turn. Moreover, at least twice yesterday the watch did not warn me at all. I would welcome some statement from Garmin.

Hi, also have the same issue

My girlfriend's 255 has the same issue.

But we also noticed something else which seems likely to be related - you can't choose any navigation data fields at all (ETA, distance remaining etc). When you try to edit the data fields on any layout, the whole "Navigation fields" category is missing...

Just wanted to note one impact.  I was traveling last week.  Since I ran a few times at my destination, I created a few courses.  Because of this issue of the distance not displaying, I kept the routes simpler than I normally would have. Stuck to straighter main roads rather than taking smaller side roads, since I didn't want to have to worry as much about missing turns. Hopefully things will be better before my next trip.  

Is update 23.09 (point "Fix map data screen obstruction during course navigation.") this future update? Thank you.

I have the same issue. Version 22.24. I remember it was ok last year (don't remember update version). My partner's FR165 works fine. I guess they won't fix it, this model is "old".
