Forerunner 255, 20.23, Heart rate issue for cross country skiing

Hello,

unfortunately, Forerunner 255, 20.23, does not measure the hear rate correctly for cross country skiing with Garmin HRM. For the first time, it looks like a problem with auto pause. But even auto pause is turn off, the hear rate is very low. I thought, the reason is the winter weather, but it is correct for running with the similar weather. Any idea? Thank you.

Youre using an old firmware, try to update and check again, but yes in winter weather for the optical heart rate sensor its more difficult to be fine

Thank you, but I have used Heart Rate Monitor with Chest Strap, it is not an issue of the optical sensor. And, it seems, 20.32 is the newest firmware. Moreover, as I wrote, it is the issue only for cross country skiing, it is correct for running.

so then this is a firmware bug, the BETA 21.19 is a release candidate, try to update to it joining the beta tester im using it and its working very good

Yes, I have already updated the device. I am going to test for cross country skiing on Sunday.
