Having all sorts of issues with 20.26 - avoid it at all cost. Does anyone know how to revert to an older version of the watch software?

People have been complaining about the poor battery life on the 255/955 in the beta program for a while. Shocking that they released v20.26 as a stable version without fixing the battery life issues.
Yes, I was confronted with that too. This morning I took it and looked through the settings ...
I remembered that this new "Garmin Share" feature came in. I found it under connections. I turned…
I was hoping to find out the same thing. The new update is draining my battery like crazy. From 100% to 60% in 24 hrs.
agree, it was a poor choice of words, but the point I intended to make was it's a bug that can significantly impact every aspect of using your watch in the same way if you have an unstable bluetooth connection.
For me at least rebooting the watch after each workout seems to solve the issue. I got the idea from another thread about battery problems. Sometihng related to the OHR getting stuck in a high-power usage mode after leaving a workout.
Funny thing is that I always use an external HR chest strap when working out.
Hope this fix could work for somebody else.
Best,
Kurt.-
Sorry guys, my mistake. Turning off Garmin Share doesn't help (or only minimally). Simply the ~1.5 weeks of uptime for me has been reduced to a scant week.
I'm not much in the mood to reset the watch, but in such cases, many people claim it helps. Has it helped anyone here after fw. 20.29 (that's the latest one, right)? And, for those who did, which reset mode did you choose?
For me 20.29 works well, without reset.
What does that mean? How much does it consume in normal mode at night or during the day?
