Course Navigation - explain symbols

Where can I find an explanation of the various symbols that display when I navigate a Course?

e.g. two different- sized red arrows (I suspect one is a Compass heading)

e.g. the data in the lower segment (which, incidentally is configured in Miles even though my profile is configured in Kms.

Is there a Table of Symbols anywhere?

I've since read elsewhere that the big red arrow is for North

I now know that, in addition to setting measurement units in Garmin Connect, I also have to independently configure a variety of units on the watch itself. (Synchronisation does not seem to control this)

(Long) UP ->System -> Format -> Units ...[Distance] [Pace/Speed] [Elevation]. [Weight]. [Height] [Temperature]
