Will there be changes to fitness age?

As the medical world is steering away from BMI and more towards waist to hip ratio as an indicator of health, do you think Garmin be dropping BMI as a factor for fitness age? Or requiring hip, waist measurements to calculate? Or perhaps asking for lifestyle factors like tobacco and alcohol use?

  • I don't think that will happen. Why? Because Garrmin has a Body fat scale in the product sale list. This scale is measure the fat, weight and muscle mass and that will have a impact to the fitness age....
But as Peter Attia in a Podcast with Andrew Hubermann said:"All this body, fitness age measurements are nonsens"

There are only 2 thing which really count, that's Vo2max and muscle mass (strength)
