Problems with coming home from outdoors that don't automatically synchronize exercise logs

I'm using iPhone 11, garmin connect version 5.1.0.21 and watch version 19.18. I used to go out for a run and leave my phone at home, and when I got home the watch would automatically connect and sync the logs, but recently it won't sync the logs even though it's already connected to my phone, is it because of the 19.18 version or because of my phone garmin connect version is too low (it requires ios16 or above, I didn't upgrade to the latest version of garmin connect)

  • Did you try removing/ forgetting  the device from BT and GC and re-pair it to BT and GC?

    I've found that sometimes sorted some issues with connecting to the app for me. (although not the same issue you mention)
