resting calories wrong

Since July 3, 2024, my resting calories have gone down by approximately 70% even though I do wear the watch most of the day and night. It should be approx 1380 (also according to non-Garmin calculators) but now has gone down consistently to about 520. The active calories still seem adequate. I have checked my heart rates and profile data (age, sex, body weight) and they are still accurate. So something must be wrong with the algorithm Garmin is using in the back. Anyone else have this problem? @Garmin, can you please check what is going on? I am in The Netherlands and Garmin can e-mail me for more info on the e-mail address they have on file.

  • I can't help but Garmin might respond tomorrow.

It might speed up the process for you if you edit your post to specifically state they can email you on your saved email address (don't post your email on this thread) and can look at your profile. Also state the region you're in.

  • Thank you! I am in The Netherlands and Garmin can e-mail me for more info on the e-mail address they have on file. Have a lovely and active Sunday!
