How to quit the training smoothly?

Hi All,

The following scenario happened to me a couple of times and I believe that's not only me:

1. I start the structured training (e.g. warm-up, a few intervals, then cooldown).

2. In the middle of the training I get a call from home/work/whatever and I need to come back.

3. BUT - I still have enough time to cool down, not just skip everything.

Question - how can I do that with the watch? I don't want to either stop the training immediately or hit Lap button like dozen of times and ending with dozen of 0.1s laps in the activity record. I would like to go somehow to the planned cooldown.

Any suggestions? How do you guys deal with that?

  • On my FR955 I would longpress the left side UP button (marked with a 'menu' sign) which would provide an 'End Workout' option that does not end the activity itself. Then just run for whichever time at whatever pace...
