watch displaying 2 different times??

I want my watch to always display the elapsed time after my run, by as you can see from the second run it has changed and I don’t know why?

What's probably throwing you off is the tiny "1" in "¹07:41". As the other comment said, it's not meant to be "07:41", it's meant to be 1 hour, 7 minutes and 41 seconds.…

It is telling you that you ran 1 hour, 7 minutes and 41 seconds, not the time of day.

What is it we can see here? The distance is longer on the second run, and it took longer time to run it. The pace is correct based on reported time and distance.

I’m talking about the time at the bottom left

why is one telling me the minutes elapsed (which is what I want) and the other telling me the time of day I started

Garmin used to display hours normally (like "1:07:41") but they started doing this to save space (so that minutes and seconds could be displayed in as large of a font as possible.)

You'll see the same thing in activity data fields which show activity time, when your activity is 1 hour or longer.
