My forerunner 255 music died and would not charge, no matter long I left it connected to a wall charger. I connected it to a computer USB and it finally started to charge.
I tried multiple different chargers, and cables, and nothing worked. I tried all the reboot techniques like holding down multiple buttons for a factory reset and nothing worked. What did work was connecting it a computer so I could work with Garmin tech support. It immediately started to charge. Hopefully this saves someone with the same problem some time.
