Garmin battery low alert on the iPhone

Hi! I have a Garmin  FR255. When the watch runs out of battery, while it vibrates, the iPhone emits a loud low battery alert, but I have all the sounds disabled. Is there a way to stop the iPhone from issuing that alert? Thanks in advance.

  • I have been trying to get an answer to this for the past few weeks myself. I cannot find any answers on how to turn this off. Even with my phone silenced and on do not disturb it is still announcing "Battery Low" when my watch gets to 10%.

  • This is infuriating. I have connect set to no notifications, my phone is on silent, I have turned off anything I can find in the app that might allow for voicing or notifications, and it is STILL giving me this alert. That it bypasses my phone's sound settings really gets to me. I have my phone on silent for a reason! I can't remember changing any settings that might have prompted this, so I'm guessing it came from a recent update.

  • I had a great chat with support and they're looking into it :)

  • It looks like the low battery warning that the bluetooth speakers emit but in the iphone's bluetooth settings I can't find anything

  • Great, let's hope it gets fixed soon
