Forerunner 255 (19.18) alerts the entire moving time during Run activity

When moving during Run activity my Forerunner 255 (19.18) alerts (rings/flashes/vibrates continuously) displaying the number 26687.7 with a small triangle (road symbol?) above it.

This alerting only stops when I stop moving or change activity, e.g Multisport switch to Walk was fine, then switch back to Run and alerting resumes.

The Up/Down buttons are ineffective during the activity alerting, but everything records okay during the activity that I can see.

I have tried powering off/on, deleting/adding the Run activity, removing any IQ fields...issue remains - anyone have ideas what my cause/fix this?

I had added/removed the activity and tried adjusting just about every setting with no luck, but I (hopefully) fixed this in the end by choosing to Restore Defaults on the activity then re-applying all my previous settings - so far I no longer get the continual alerts and I'm not aware of any setting I have missed.

How did you restore defaults? I have the same issue.

I selected the sport, using top-right button (start/stop) and then the left up/down buttons until Run is highlighted …then keep finger on middle left button to get the sport options and select the Run Settings with top right button…scroll down to bottom option using the bottom left button, and hopefully Restore Defaults is there to be selected with the top right button
