I liked the persistent vibration. It meant I never missed a phone call. I presume there is no option to keep a function that existed since I bought the watch 2 years ago.

We are tracking the feedback from this change. If anyone preferred the continual vibrations for phone calls, please comment below with permission for me to add you to our report!
All,
This has been addressed on sw version 20.26 which is currently at 20%. Thank you very much for your feedback!
All,
I am very sorry to those who are disappointed with how we addressed this concern. The number of vibrations has been extended, but unfortunately we cannot please everyone's desire on how long the vibrations…
Dear Sierra!
I think the best solution would be for everyone to be able to choose whether they prefer a short vibration or a continuous vibration.
Edit:
@Garmin-Sierra Is it not possible to post a vote…
Garmin Guys??? I’m a garmin lover for decades, but it looks like you try to kill your business… Such changes pushing me to another brands… Fix it ASAP please
and shortcuts - any news…
This is absolutely the reason I'm thinking returning my brand new Fenix8. I'm on-call and there's no way on Earth I wake up for that way too short vibration/sound. Users should be able to chose the persistent vibration. It is a MUST for some!
Could you please tell me what that means apprx? 2 weeks? 2 months? 2 years?
If you are asking if or when this will be addressed on the Fenix 8, you will need to post on their channel: Fenix 8 channel. I would personally recommend contacting Product Support directly, however, for the fastest assistance!
Wrong. It vibrates 6 times, but not continuously. This ruined the watch for me personally. Thank you Garmin. I will never buy your products again and I will even less recommend them to others.
I agree, with 20.26, it vibrates 6 times, it is not continuous.
I think it was better in some previous beta releases
That's right, I was fooled at first. It vibrates, but not continuously (it stops after about 6 rings). It's really difficult to understand why a previously working function can't be reverted.
Garmin is clearly covering up either a hardware or software problem, but is not admitting it. And an official announcement from Sierra that the problem has been fixed is a blatant lie and consumer deception. The way Garmin treats customers is unbelievably brazen.
All,
I am very sorry to those who are disappointed with how we addressed this concern. The number of vibrations has been extended, but unfortunately we cannot please everyone's desire on how long the vibrations last. We've received feedback in the past that the vibrations on the watch were too long, requesting that the number of vibrations were reduced. That being said, if you would like to submit feedback and request a longer time for call vibrations, please do so on our share ideas page. I will be locking this thread, thank you.
