I am very sorry to those who are disappointed with how we addressed this concern. The number of vibrations has been extended, but unfortunately we cannot please everyone's desire on how long the vibrations…

I think the best solution would be for everyone to be able to choose whether they prefer a short vibration or a continuous vibration.

Yes. We also had users requesting for this change to happen in the first place. I'm not exactly sure if those old requests mainly came from forums or Product Support contacts.
There will be mixed preferences about this, so I understand the desire to at least have the option to choose.
I am not sure what it will look like if something is changed.
Thanks, Garmin-Sierra for keeping us posted and trying to find a good solution for most people in this matter. Assuming malice is almost never a good idea. At least I know that corporate decisionmaking even on such tiny matters takes a while, and I'm looking forward to a good resolution for this.

Would it be too complicated to have a switch in the Connect app where this can be set? Otherwise, I prefer continuous vibration. In its absence, I've had a situation where I thought an incoming call was some other type of notification (and I can check later).

I changed from the fenix to the forerunner among other things because I didn't want a single vibration on calls, and for a couple of days it only gives me two vibrations and I have already missed a few calls
