I just purchased the 255 music. On the first day I uploaded a few podcasts (from mac) using the express app. Everything worked correctly. A few days ago I went to access them and they were gone--podcast folder empty. I think the watch may have done an software update in between. When I plugged into express, it showed that the podcasts were on the watch. Then I checked on the watch again and found that they are now in the "other" folder, not in podcasts. I tried removing them and re-uploaded, and again they went to the other folder.
Is there a fix for this? I had the 245 and found the integration with my apple podcasts to be awful, so I was very much hoping Garmin would've fixed the issues with the new watch. disappointing that this still doesn't work well.
