Autopause in XC Classic Ski not sensitive enough

Lately the XC Classic Ski activity has included an "auto-pause" functionality. This is not working properly as it turns on autopause while we're moving. This is especially true when going up steep hills, where the pace is low. Today I lost 2km of my 17km trip due to this autopause bug. I would rather not have autopause and my whole trip than good pace but too short trip.

Can this feature be turned off some way?

You can disable it, and you can also change the threshold speed where it triggers pause. Look in the activity settings for XC Classic Ski.

In latest software version 18.23 it auto paused even if it was turned off. Also weird thing is that before starting activity there was footpod connected icon. There should no footpod while skiing and there was no foot pod nearby. Garmin hrm pro plus was connected. I use dother activity profile because of this.
