My Forerunner 255 is still stuck on version 17.26 instead of the latest version 18.23

Today, I connected my watch to the Garmin Express app on my computer. It said that my current version is up to date, even though the 255 series supports the latest version 18.23. Does anyone know how to update to the latest version in this case ?

    You're in luck. Stay with 17.26. Look around iin the forum for issues with 18.23.

    I had the same problem.

    My 255 when connected to Mac wouldn't upgrade to 18.22 or 18.23.

    But it upgraded after I connected to Garmin Express on PC.

    After this I deleted Garmin Express on Mac, reinstalled and now all is good.

    Deleting Garmin Express from Mac is cumbersome. Exact steps are given on Garmin Help pages.

    P.S: I have no issues with my 255 upgraded to 18.23

    I just bought my Forerunner 255. It says I need 17.26 software update to download spotify, but my watch is only at 16.17 but has no updates. Help???
