18.23 still no embedded images in smart notifications (Android)

I get them for some apps some of the time.  

For the majority of time i get nothing.

In my opinion, this is just another pointless and half-heartedly implemented gimmick. It works for me sometimes and believe me, you can't see anything at all on the 30 pixel preview image because of the MIP display. But: Why should that be important? This is not a multimedia watch, but first and foremost a sports watch whose qualities should lie elsewhere.
