18.23 lost audio prompts

Since upgrading to 18.23 i seem to have lost all my audio prompts, no pace updates, lap updates, nothing on the phone BT. (i haven't tested direct watch bluetooth).

I've tried toggling the prompts on and off individually, ive tried rebooting the watch but nothing seems to help.

The watch still vibrates and shows the update on screen but i have no audio of anything. Not lap count, pace, heart rate or anything else.

Any ideas?

Try reboot your smartphone, it worked for me.

I have a 255m one, after updating to .22 the audio prompt has changed from german to english and after .23 back to german again :) But compared to the biggest probs with rounded pace/HR its a cute bug, not more. Try to set other language to get your notifications back.

Do you hear testing prompts when Adjusting Audio Prompt Volume Levels on yor smartphone?

I see no testing option or button anywhere on the menu

This is simply an item for adjusting the volume of prompts; when you select it, test prompts begin playing to adjust their volume.

I dont see that either - my screen is identical to the one in the linked URL above with no option for adjusting the audio volume. From memory it just uses the devices normal BT volume.

Maybe ,I only have FR55 and FR245 for them Garmin Connect shows such an item.

There is one more point that may matter - the distance between the watch and the smartphone.

Place the phone next to the watches within less then 1m and run something like Yoga with on heart rate alert after 1 minute..

With FR55 suddenly there were problems with the range via BT,

I had to hold the phone in front on the same side as the watch, otherwise there were no prompts.
