Can't save activity since last update

I can't do that to my forerunner 255S since last software update via Garmin watch directly last week. Any kind soul can share the solution here? Thanks in advance!

What happens when you select save?

Do a restart of the watch. Hold the top left button until watch shuts off and then start again.

When I click "save" or "discard", the watch will auto restart. Tried many times and it's still the same. Tried force start, restart, shutdown etc, the problem still persists
