Change Notes for 18.22 seem to be wrong

Hello,

I just read the Change Notes for V18.22 and wonder why there are changes for Touch Screen / Wiping etc.? The 255 has no touch screen? Was this mixed up?

And I reall don't understand why you add new features, while the softwar has so many bugs, please first make it stable before releasing new features.

So far my experience with this watch is very bad, every new software added a few new bugs...

  • The update instructions were copied directly from 265/965

  • Yeah, so they are wrong? 265/965 with different screens etc should need different firmware, right?

  • Thank you for catching that! My mistake.

I've removed the touchscreen changes from the list, but 18.22 is still the correct software version.

I'm sorry to read that you are having a bad experience. I recommend reaching out to Garmin Product Support directly so you can discuss everything going on with a live agent. Feel free to post your concerns here as well, but your fastest assistance will be through the link I provided.

  • I am in contact with support. I sent a lot of infos about my problems, they acknowledged they are working on it and that's the last thing I heard. I had several updates since then but it only got worse. Nothing is fixed so far. Instead a lot of new features...

  • I am in contact with support too but to no avail. The forerunner 255 was a failed model I believe, I had it exchanged for free after 11 months of usage after the HRM was behaving erratically. The 8.22 version was updated last night but it was a disaster. Friday 8 march I did 10k in 65 minutes with AHR of 161 but today Sunday after the update I did 10k in 66 minutes with AHR of 127. A complete shift even after I did few sprints my maximum HR was no more than 134. My usual mhr was 178 before the update. I am 67 years old man.
