Would an 'Athlete' mode and a 'Regular' mode make sense?

I have a Forerunner 255 and I'm pretty happy with it, but I would like it to be a more of an automated general tracking device. I come from a Garmin Venu 2, which I liked but sold since it missed a lot of metrics.

My problem is I'm doing a lot of activities outside of the one I record manually (bike, tennis, running).

For instance, some days I will cut wood, it's very taxing for me, yet it won't show on my training status and my load status since I haven't started an activity. And then I'm under impression it messes up my status.

I think the regular mode could track everything you do during the day even outside the manually started activity you record on the watch. And the athlete mode could only count the manually recorded activities.
