Disconnects from iOS after updating to 17.26 and Connect 4.74.3

My 255 has stopped working with my iPhone after updating to 4.74.3 Connect and 17.26 on the 255. It will connect occasionally, but only if I unpair and repair by resetting the 255 to defaults. Most of the time it will drop it's connection in the middle of the first sync without even leaving the Connect app. It worked fine up until the updates. Now I have to sync my workouts with USB on the laptop. I had a similar issue on one of the older versions back in about October but I don't remember the versions, although it didn't last this long. The very next software release fixed it until this time. Any ideas? When will the next GC and firmware updates come out. It's driving me back to an Apple Watch...that in 3 years never had an issue until I broke it in a bike crash.
