Problem with SpO2 measuring when sleeping

Hello

In my watch, I have set the pulse oximeter measurement to "only during sleep." The average sleep hours are defined as 23:20 - 05:30. I noticed that the pulse oximeter always takes measurements only during the hours I specified, not when I am actually sleeping. If my actual sleep hours are shifted, it starts measurements when I am not yet sleeping and stops measurements while I am still sleeping. In the attached screenshots, I have two examples of this issue. In one, I slept until 08:00, but the pulse oximeter stopped measurements at 05:30. In the other, it's the same day from a different screen in app, and you can see that measurements started before I fell sleep the next evening.

This is reproducible and remains unchanged after restarting, also not battery level related problem (full battery gaves same effect). It seems to me to be a bug because other parameters measure throughout the actual sleep, not just in the hours I defined, for example, breathing or HRV.

Firmware is 17.26.

I think this is how they want it. It don’t make sense because it’s not your 24hr avg, just the avg of whatever times you set. You’ll also see a sleep avg SpO2 that they give you, so it’s two separate things. Whoop and Oura are laughing at us.
