[17.26] Reboot after notification arrives

I have realized that the watch reboots accidentally when notification arrives. Not every time, but randomly mainly few times per week. Very annoying.

    • After a whatsap message, it occured once and the watch screen turn triangle garmin logo and dissappeared rebooting took a minute or more, at this time the screen was black then triangle and worked
    • There is no specific day it has occured once
    • This was notification-specific for me and occured once until now
    • I have no chance taking a video as it is not repetable
    • After updating to 17.26, it has occured
    • Have you attempted any troubleshooting on your own? Yes I have disconnected the watch from garmin connect and reconnected it. Furthermore I have made the phone forgotten the bluetooth connection id. But I have not resetted the watch

    Same here since latest update 17 26. It seems to happen randomly when it gives a WhatsApp notification on the screen. It happens a couple of times per week. It also shows gaps in tracking data, like heart rate, HRV stats and steps. Can Garmin fix this with a new update?

    I had no reboot in the last couple of days (I had multiple reboots several days in a row last week). Reboots, when they occur, are pretty fast, less than 10 seconds for the watch to reboot.

    So far I receive WhatsApp notifications, I got many of them, with or without image and I never noticed a reboot after a WhatsApp notification.

    I started to remove notifications from some applications however: Aliexpress, edge, famileo, Leboncoin, LinkedIn,maps, Microsoft 365, Netflix, Prime video, privatesportshop, telegram, windscribe.

    To be safe (hopefully), I disabled notifications from all applications during an activity (it's a watch setting) as it's critical for me not to have a reboot during an activity.

    Unlike someone mentioned, I have NO gap with tracking data, like heart rate, HRV stats and steps. Everything is good with 17.26 except the random reboots.

    Fingers crossed, I'll soon celebrate a full week without a reboot.

    Celebration is over. Just got a reboot after an Instagram notification (basic 'like' notification, already received plenty of them without any trouble)

    From the last reboots I got, it seems to occur (on my watch at least) when multiple notifications arrive at the same time or when multiple notifications are still active and unread (unread on my Android phone). For instance I got a reboot in the morning when switching on my phone and then a wave of notifications arrived on my watch. Tonight I finally got a reboot after receiving something like 30 WhatsApp notifications in a row in a couple of seconds (a bunch of pictures).

    I have experienced similar reboots after multiple notifications
