[17.26] Some options are changed when rebooting

When rebooting the watch I noticed that two options are always changed:

  • Phone notifications: I have it set to off but I receive them after rebooting until I manually enable and disable them again
  • the primary race widget which gets added to glances

    This is an infuriating one indeed. In my case, it had appeared with one of the previous updates though, last summer, not 17.26.

    Anyway, what you do is go into GarminConnect/Settings/Notifications/App Notification, and toggle off all apps one by one or using the All Applications button.

    No more disturbance.

    This has been fixed on sw version 20.26, which is currently at 20% rollout.
