Snowboard/Ski laps counting wrong

Dear Garmin team,

When You finally fix bug with snowboard/ski app counting descent, distance and laps when sitting chairlift and going up? Its a very annoying issue which never shoudld happened. Using actually FR255 ver.17.26

Pls make neccessary fix in next software update, I thoug its not a big deal to make it correct. Thanks

    same problem, went skiing yesterday... the lift is counted. it was correct with my old Vivoactive...

    I have issues with the ski activity as well. In the summary I see 46 second of lift time for a hole day of ski. On the map view the lift is showing as run (i.e. red). Yet the elevation plot shows the correct perks but missed a full run.

    Garmin promised the fix in the next update, and that will happen once the winter is over on the northern hemisphere. The same issue as the last year - the problem was raised before the skiing season and the fix (that fixed nothing, in fact) was published when the winter already had been gone. So I'm expecting that we'll see the fix around March/April and then we'll be able to verify in December that it doesn't work.

    Still broken for me on 18.23.

    The map is a mess - its showing clear lifts as runs (i can snowboard uphill for 1km? Great!) and runs as lifts (worlds most zigzagged lift?)

    Total distance etc is fine but what its calling a run and now is totally, utterly broken.
