Firmware 17.24 image in notifications

Hello

I just received update 17.24 which says there will be image previews in notifications. 

Unfortunately, so far there has never been a preview of the photo on the watch. 

What is the situation with other users?

    I was surprised this morning when my hubby sent me a text with a picture and the picture showed up. Not that I could even begin to see the picture, but it was there. My understanding is that it is if you're connected via Android it will show up; I have the music version.

    Regarding whatsapp:

    you definitely need to enable the automatic download of images within whatsapp.

    Once this is set you will see that everything will work and you will see the images on the watch.

    Thats not the case here.  Automatic download is on (and always has been) and i get nothing.

    Nor do i get FB messenger images. (No idea about other apps, dont use them).

    This is a Pixel 7 Pro running Android 14.  Watch has had a full wipe/factory reset etc.

    Are there any updates regarding this topic?

    I also don't have the music version and I don't receive the images
