FR 255 non-music, can't update to latest beta firmware 17.18

Okay thanks, they should specify that in the announcement. I spent 15 min yesterday trying to update.

Same here. Been connecting to express and checking app and watch daily. No beta 17.18 for me. 

It is even marked in yellow in the first pinned post in the beta discussion forum that these firmwares are only for the Music version....

Yes, and it makes absolutely no sense why it takes days and weeks for the software to be pushed to the device so I can install it, after it has been released just because my watch doesn't have wi-fi. 

Manual update is available only for the Music version. Not the beta SW itself. It needs to be pushed from Garmin to your device.

This is definitely not true. I've received beta updates before on my FR255 non-music.

But they changed the way they distribute the beta versions, by letting 255M users download them manually by Wifi. Maybe they will eventually push them to non music owners, but not initially.

Apologies for the simple question but do I need to signup to something to be able to download this beta ? I own a 255 Music and can't figure out how.
