Forerunner 255 16.19 update battery drain

Updated my watch this morning and it’s died twice since, seems very unusual. Spotify app also messed up.

My watch battery from 41% to 12% over a night, and I turned fly mode on during that night. That's unusual, must be something wrong in 16.19 firmware.

I do not know what the problem is but after updating to 16.19 as soon as the update was out, I did not notice any change in my battery usage. It's the same as before.

happens often after updates. make sure your IQ Apps are alll updated as well and restart your watch a couple of times. Should be fine then after a while

It had happened at least twice previously. When I realize I turn off and on the watch because I guess something gets stuck when updated

Yeah, sync it using Garmin Express on your laptop and restart the watch. I see no issues at all with 16.19.
