Hello fellow Garmin users,
I've been using my Forerunner 255S for a range of activities, including eBiking. While I always ensure I select the eBiking activity profile during my rides, I'm curious about how these sessions might impact the general vO2 max estimates.
Given the motor assistance inherent to eBiking, I wonder if and how it affects the vO2 max calculations. Is there a mechanism within the Forerunner 255S to differentiate the unique dynamics of eBiking when calculating or updating vO2 max values?
I'd love to hear from other users regarding their experiences or observations related to this. Additionally, any insights from Garmin representatives on how the device algorithms handle eBiking for vO2 max estimations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!
