Unable to acquire GPS since 16.17, 255s Music

As per title. Have tried all gps modes, resetting once. No GPS (even after waiting for 10 mins)

I'm facing similar problems, i do get GPS after some time, but it takes way longer than before the update and the position gets lost during the activity very often.

The problems started with the update to 16.17 (GPS: 5.00) on my ForeRunner 255 music...
Please fix that issue asap - the watch is worthless more or less without working GPS (all data and calculation based on distance is corrupt) ...

Hi Sierra, i've since replaced my 255s music at a local distributor. They updated it to 15.19. They should have reported/sent the faulty unit to garmin

Same problem was not solved in 16.19, the gps was inaccurate due to lack of signal, no map data after the workout, and the pace was incorrect.

Same here, 2 days ago GPS was found after +60 minutes. Very frustrating.
