there was no change in the network, it was always set up the same way. but from on day to the next my 255 would not connect anymore for no reason
But there was a change in the watch. And if the new software found the 5 GHz network first this time, it will not connect. Maybe it found the 2.4 GHz first by chance last time there was a new watch software.

Now I first time got the "Error Code 500". Most of the times it says "Cannot connect to the wifi network". It worked before the update and the wifi network in my house was not altered in any way.
by the way:
my Edge 530 behaves exactly the opposite way - it connects easily to the network downstairs my 255 would now not connect to anymore... and does never even find my upstairs network which again my 255 would connect easily to...
How is Garmin even able to create such an unlogical mess
