after update to 16.17 firmware i have a problem with GPS

I upgraded my garmin 255 music to 16.17 firmware. I did factory reset and I have 2 problems

  1. I ride my bike, ang GPS stucks after a while. I stop my activity and I try to create one, but is is not possible fo fix gps
  2. sometimes GPS fixing is unstable. I start new activity, GPS after 1-3 minutes GPS s locked (green circle in display) but after a few secons it disappers (red circle on display)

till this update, garmin worked very well. any advice?

    Same. After upgrade to 16.17 GPS is consistently out of whack. Garmin, can you please issue a fix ASAP? Fall marathon are coming up!

    Same here - The problems started with the update to 16.17 (GPS: 5.00) on my ForeRunner 255 music...
    Please fix that issue asap - the watch is worthless more or less without working GPS (all data and calculation based on distance is corrupt) ...
