[16.17] No more gesture in sleep mode?

Seems that with 16.17 gesture option for sleep mode is removed, could be real?

I use gesture ONLY in sleep mode, when I go bed late or wake up in the night...

Isn't that a good thing? If you want the light on, push the button. Then a mistaken gesture will not wake you up.

Best thing is alway the possibility to choice, as it was until last firmware

Same problem here. After 22.30 no more backlight in notification and no more gesture

I have the same problem after updated firmware to version 16.17 on my forrunner 255:

basically if I perform a wrist gesture at night or in the dark or during the day, my forrunner 255 remain dark, it has no backlight .I need to push the button to turn backlight on. Kindly fix it. Thanks.
