On whether the new Venu 3 features will come to the 255

The new Venu 3 will have some new features like:

Nap Detection [added in fw 17.18]
Sleep Coach [added in fw 18.22]
Daily Summary [added in fw 17.? (it was not listed in the new features list)]
Recents (quick switching between widgets) [?]
Jetlag Advisor [added in fw 19.18]
Switching between large and small text size [added in fw 17.18]
Workout Benefit [! probably an inferior alternative to training effect]
Wheelchair and handcycle ativities/workouts [?]
Guided Meditation activity [! maybe similar to 255's breathing activity]
Ability to see photos in messages (Android only) [added in fw 17.18]

Does anybody have informations on whether the 255 will get any of these in future updates?

True, recent updates have mainly included improvements. But I would not have thought that after almost a year, some features would still not be available on other watches.

why would you expect that all features are available on all watches? why to compare venu to forerunner?

I do not expect the successor function. That would be the FR265. Venu 3 is a different category.
But there are features that are currently only available in the Venu3. But it's not a running watch so you won't switch to it.

The only thing that I truly miss coming from a Venu watch is the auto start/stop activity, sure you have MoveIQ with the forerunner but its not the same.

So how does the Venu know when an activity should start or stop? Would it know the difference between resting in an interval pause, and actually being finished? I think I would struggle to trust an automatic system for this.

yea probably not for athletes but for general users like me, I'm bored to start / stop activities each time, I'd rather have all automated, people will tell me "then get a venu", but yes I had one but stats are lacking to say the least.
