Is the Forerunner 255 a good watch ?

Reading a lot of the messages on this forum as well as a lot on the Garmin facebook page, I really wonder if the F255 is a good device ?

Seeing all the problems listed, I'm really hesitant to buy this watch. What do you think? Would you repeat your purchase? Do you regret your purchase, what would you buy instead?

For my use it fits the purpose well, and I would buy it again. No issues, but one thing that is a bit annoying. The intended course and the actual course has the same color in map view. This was better…

Before buying this FR255, I watched many tests on Youtube and all praised the accuracy of the heart rate measurement, finally, it is not more accurate than my Venu 2 and less than my Huawei GT Runner but it does not matter since I use an H10 polar belt or an OH1 bracelet. Another point, on these videos the display (Text) was quite large which is not at all the case on my watch! Excuse my English, I use a translator.)
